    Was there only 1 engine size available for this truck? What cubic inch sizes were available and was there only one size oil pump used ?

    Since your truck is a 2R5, I'd guess it has the small 170 CI flat head inline 6. It may have the 245 CI flat head 6, but I doubt it.

      2R5 is the small six, a 2R6 would be the bigger six in a half ton.

        Since you have only one post, Ill assume you are new to this group and, perhaps, new to Studebakers. Welcome.

        The small Champion flathead displaced 170 and the larger Commander 245 cid. I believe they had different oil pumps.
