  • Wanted - T10 Studebaker input shaft

    Greetings,All,

I am considering converting a Chevy T10 to Studebaker and need a Studebaker 2.54 first gear input shaft, parts tranny or complete unit.

Also, am I correct in that Studebaker used the Chevy bolt-pattern T10 only in 1961 and went back to the Stude/Ford bolt-pattern on T10s from '62-64?

    thnx, jack vines

Mid year 1962 would be when the change was made to Ford case, making it possible to use the common '57 to '64 3 speed Bellhousing instead of the SPECIAL '61 -early '62 Chevy case pattern bell housing, with the lower right hand bolt way outboard.

Thanks, Rich and Frank. Guess I could be in the market for a Chevy pattern bell housing as an option.

          thnx, jv.
