  • Body: 61 Lark two door hard top quarter panels

Getting ready to start the body work on my 61 Lark and the quarter panels just do not fit very well along where they bolt to the body by the rear windows. Is there a Welting that goes In between them?

No welting- just sealer. How is the fit poor? How are the gaps between the rear body panel, trunk lid & door? Your fit problem sounds like it is by the back glass, right? Is it too tight to the trunk lid? Pictures would help us too.

Noting where you reside, there may be rust in that area that is forcing the rear fenders (quarter panels) out away from the body.
