  • Frame / Springs: Rear Shackle Length, '60 LArk IV

PO replaced the rear shackles to lift the car. I would like to get it back closer to stock height. Can someone tell me what the center to center distance of the rear shackles are?

    Thx,
    Greg

You should be able to just order a new correct set from a Studebaker Vendor at: studebakervendors.com

No need to worry about the length if you order the Part number that fits your model.

Great! I can drill mine for now (they're at 6") and add some pinion spacers. For later AvantiParts.biz has a kit with all four 4" shackle and 6 bolts for $28.

        Thanks,
        Greg
