  • Clutch / Torque Converter: Flywheel-What does it fit?

I found a GM flywheel among my Stude inventory. It is about 141/4" in diameter. The numbers on it read GM 50,E 251 or 257 as well as 3873458 N. I can't find it in my Hollander books. Any of you GM savy Stude guys know its application?
    Thanks, Rob in PA.

That is the OD for a GM SBC V-8 flywheel that takes a 10.4-11" clutch. The bolt pattern dia will tell you if it's early two-piece crank or later one-piece. It will also have a cast offset piece on the back if it's for an externally balance application (ie-400 SBC)That's as far as I can go from memory so I'd google the number and see what turns up.

Don't know BOP divisions at all so if it's one of those, you'll need help from the experts
