just a warning; since the KG4550 is listed for a Riv which supposedly crosses with a Stude it should work OK, when I looked up the dimensions of the Monroe shock for the Corvette app. it was a little more limited in its range of travel than the Monroe shock for the earlier Stude app. So if you are considering buying shocks listed for a vette for the front of your Stude ask for compressed and extended lengths of the specific shock you are considering buying. The Monroe 5751 is listed at 8.5" to 13.75" while the Monroe shock for a 'vette (33123) is only 9.375 to 14.625. I have no idea if you can actually compress a Stude suspension far enough to fully compress the 'vette shock or not, but it might be worth checking out, especially if you have cut your springs. I'm not trying to be a killjoy here far from it, I think it is great that people are getting info like this.

BTW in the process of updating my spreadsheet, I found that the KG4550 is a direct fit to a '64 Riviera according to KYB; therefore it should be a direct fit for a Stude. Is this actually the case or is the lower pin narrower? Not clear from your post whether you used the fender washers for insurance or if they are required. Would like to add a footnote to my spreadsheet if it's not really a direct fit.

    thanks,

BTW the front shocks for an earlier Stude (51-56) interchange with a Volvo 1800. I was all excited when I discovered this because I figured there would be a Koni application available for an 1800 seeing as it's a little, sporty car. No such luck I did find a Bilstein application but not one for the rear (that interchanges with a 65-68 Cadillac.)

I'm not a big fan of KYB or Boge, having had bad experiences with both.

Someplace I explained that I went with the "middle" of the KYB line. Below is the GR2, above is the MonoMax and something else I am too lazy to look up. This is based on long euro-car experience in heavier cars, e.g. Volvos. In the unlikely event that the "performance" KYB Gas-Adjust is too harsh, I can always go back to the GR2. If I ever feel the need to punch-it on a regular basis, there are over-coils, Edelbrock, and some fancy sports shocks in this line.

2nd Gen Camaro front shocks are the same as 1994-96 Impala SS front
shocks (might be the same as the Corvette ones also) but both have two
options for shocks, one "sport" (what I got for both) and "heavy duty".

They also require the large washer trick, since the "T" is more narrow
than the Studebaker shock. I hope you Jeep rear solution has a "sport"
    shock also available.
