  • Interior: Upholstery Shop?

Can anyone recommend a good upholstery shop?
Need factory type front seat coverings for my 1957 Packard Clipper wagon. I can send old covers for patterns.
The shop I have used for years has closed it's doors.

How far are you willing to go for a good shop? I know an outstanding shop near me...I've used them for many years and their work is exemplary. I've seen cars such as 1930's Packards, Kaiser-Darrins, and more in their shop for interiors. They've done two Avantis for me as well as a Corvette and some repair work on a Lincoln and another Corvette in the past. The shop is Joe's Upholstery in Frederick, MD. If you decide to check them out, ask for Don.

I would suggest contacting Jim Lawrence ay FBN Upholstery, Inc. in New Martinsville, WV, 304-337-8693. You may have seen some of Jim's work at Reedsville or York.

I tried to get the fabric from Rene for my '57 Clipper wagon. He couldn't get it. I contacted SMS which is where he gets it from. I gave them a year to weave it and they failed miserably.
