  • Frame/Springs: 1963 Trailer Hitch Lark Daytona

Did Studebaker or Reese or some other vendor make custom trailer hitch for the Larks?
If yes, then will a hitch for a 64, 65 or 66 fir my 63 Lark Dayton?

Yes it will. Remember that the rear fenders (aka outer 1/4 panels) are the same from 62-66. So is the frame so a hitch from any of those years (& probably many, many others) will fit.

Here's the one I designed for my 54 Coupe. Principle is the same, but just make yours fit your frame. I made mine to use the bolts that held on the skid plates. Remove the skid plates and use spacers and grade 8 lock nuts so as not to crush the frame. I hauled a trailer full of ladders, tools, parts and supplies to my jobsites for over a year with it. Never any trouble.

And BTW, no cutting or welding on the car is needed. Can be returned to stock simply by unbolting the hitch.
