Were Mopar rearends used for Studebaker pickups ??? I bought a '49 pickup and the rearend looks identical to Mopar units, even the numbers, this according to the gentleman I use for pin striping, and he has also built several cars....Brad

The Dana rear ends with Twin Traction did not come along until around 1957 in Studebaker cars and the trucks in 1956 if I remember a recent thread on this correctly. Don't know when Chrysler Corp. started using a limited slip differential.Frank van Doorn
