Fail Safe Thermostat for Stude Pickup

Howdy All, a while back Jeff Rice posted some parts numbers for a Fail Safe thermostat for Stude cars. It looks like a great idea, and would really like to get one. But if I am not mistaken, I believe that the thermostats were different between the cars and trucks, because of the housings. Does anyone have a part number for that Fail Safe thermostat that will fit a Stude pickup with V8? Thanks in advance for any information. Tim

I don't think there is anything different about them. if you have a two bolt thermostat housing, get a thermostat for a Chevy V-8. If you have the four bolt housing, get one for a Chrysler V-8. Both were used for many, many years but if you ask for something circa 1970 you should get what you want.
