  • Brakes: Park Brake Cable Differences

My brother is finishing a project I started many years ago in Australia. It's a 64 Cruiser cut off behind the drivers door and finished as a truck cab as to make a pickup truck. It sits on a 63 X-member wagon chassis for rigidity.

Here's the question: He is going about installing the park brake cabling and the original wagon cable is missing as the chassis was striped completely. No runners, cable or any bolts, nothing. So, he is at a point of getting it on the road and is trying to install some type of cabling so as to have a park brake not only for safety but it wont pass the inspection with out one.

Any one know what differences there are as far as length? How the slider brackets differ? The other main difference would be the angle of the brackets are different from here as the car is right hand drive.
