using 6g and 14a shop manual, page 5, ist paragrapg, (be sure to remove the screw which is hidden by the ventilator wing). figure 8 has black arrows pointing to screw locations. I cannot find the screw under the vent. I can see rivets, and have felt around with stubby screw driver fooking for screw slots, but so far cannot find the screw. Need help, maybe eyes are not good, but can't find this screw and don't want to destroy the moulding. Guess they are rare. 48 Champion 4 door.

Below are photos of the left side hole that the screw goes into and the right side vent screw hole.
Please note that the screw head is Phillip and will be hard to find with a slotted driver if covered with dirt.

Thanks for the pictures. better than words. grandson came by (good eyes) saw no screrw and was able to use some force and good trim out so now in process of replacing vent to window seals.
