  • Cool/Heat: Jeopardy,..Id that Radiator for 20 "thank you's"

I have three radiators that I am assuming are some combo of a 50 or 51, A 52 and hopefully a 55. I need really just to know which is a 52 commander and which is a 55 that should work for a V8 and fit a speedster model.
#3 & #4 are the same radiator and it is a little taller than the other two.

    Thanks,

    Dean.

Radiator 3/4 sure has the shape of a 52. Although mine being a champion the lower outlet has a bend in it.
Other than that it looks the same.

While I currently have no radiator for my 52 Commander; I have been collecting reference photos to help ID parts, so here is my best radiator picture:

It apears to match your photos 3 and 4. Hope this helps.

The rounded tank makes me think that number 1 is the 55 radiator. The tank on 3 and 4 looks right for a 51-52 model. I can't say about the shape of the pipes.

Number one looks like my '54 radiator.

Measure the core height of the radiator in pic #1. It looks like a '55 but if the core is taller than 15" it wont fit in a Speedster.

Number two is like the one that I just took out of a 55 sedan commander. I tried it in my 53 coupe and it worked.

The chassis parts books have pictures of the radiators.
