  • 1954 Champion gas tank sending unit?!?!

Where in the world can we find one of these? My friend is working on a 54 Champion and the sending unit is toast. We are having a really hard time finding one. Does someone sell NOS parts of these or is there a simple mod / swap out?

    Thanks in advance!!

Studebaker Intl has them (6 volt)
    http://www.studebaker-intl.com/Resources/Part%206.pdf
Part # 525548 $89.95 includes mounting gasket. might
be other vendors as well....StudeParts in Phoenix is
out of stock for the moment.

    Hope this helps

it turns out that both of those places are out of stock! Any other ideas or anyone know where a USED one might be sitting around?

Well Nutz....Under the search link, using the tech talk forum to
search for "gas sending units", there was a mention that JC Whitney
and Summit Racing had sending units that could fit Studebakers,
don't remember the year though. You might try those folks....
