  • Underhood measurement from a 62 Lark

As part of my modifications on my 1962 Lark hardtop I am looking to add a hood scoop on the raised portion of the 62 lark hood. I need to know the distance from the center of the hood latch to the center stud on the carb, both 2 and 4 barrel for scoop placement.

Hey, at least I'm not trying to add a superbird nose and wing to the car

Went out and measured for you, 25 3/4" from air cleaner stud to center of hood latch. I have a pic if you need it.

Thanks for the info Now to get out the cardboard and painter's tape to mock up what I want to do before I start cutting for real.

Heck, I forgot to ask what the clearence is between the bottom of the hood and the top of the air cleaner
