  • Engine: Generator End Plate Trouble

So I went out today to start up my 1961 Lark and was having difficulty getting it to turn oer. I went and looked under my hood and to my surprise the generator had slipped from its' original position and I noticed that the front plate was broken. Long story short, is there anyone who could help me out either in the form of selling a NOS front end plate or a referral to a vendor who might machine these pieces outof somthing better.

The number on the plate reads: GGW10

Any help to get my poor Stude on the road again would be greatly apprieciated.

    Thank you

You might have better luck finding another generator. If I remember correctly, you have an Autolite generator on your engine which shouldn't be hard to locate. I'm sure someone here can get you a good generator at a decent price. Bud
