Thanks for the great comments. Don't worry, oil will leak sometime in the future and it will be recognizable again. I am now preparing the truck from the firewall forward, cleaning, scraping wire wheeling, and painting. Must have removed a bucket full of dried crusty oily grease from the frame. Good news is that the frame is nearly rust free from the oily crud.
I have also rebuilt the steering box, steering linkage, king pins, wheel bearings & seals, and transmission. I also plan to fix the hood. There is a lot of rust on the hood and now the center droops. So I will make a brace to mount under the hood and seal it up to stop the rust.
