    Super nice 53 in many respects. But painted tailight bezels? Eww.

      And what's wrong with painted tail light bezels?? (Actually, I wouldn't have done it if the headlight buckets were still chrome, but one seems to go with the other-and Bourke reportedly favored painted headlight rims).

        In many cases I find I like the painted bezels and headlight rings better looking than chrome. Molding them in looks even cleaner!

        It was in Rod&Custom, you know - not Hemmings.
