....and all goes for not if you don't have the puller screw dialed into the the axle shaft.......what I mean is, just as our bell housings need to be "centered" on the crankshaft....the puller screw needs to be "centered" on the axle shaft. Sometimes on very used pullers, you need to adjust the lugnuts individually to align things ....pulling off center will make it jump out of gear...er...put enough side pressure on the set up as to not affect a straight pull....
