I'm trying to put a '51 Commander with Automatic Drive back together. The previous owner bent the linkage from the accelerator bell-crank to the firewall bell-crank. I tried to straighten it out by eyeball. But I'd like to know what the proper measurement from tip to tip? Thanks!

Doug,
It's hard to get a very accurate measurement with the linkage still installed in car but it appears to be about 12.25" from tip to tip. The bends occur about 2.5" from each end and the offset from side to side is about 6". I hope this helps.
