  • Clutch / Torque Converter: Clutch Cross Shaft Bushing Needed

I am taking apart my spare bellhousing for a 61 4-speed Hawk, Chevy pattern. The brass bushing on the right side of the cross shaft in the housing is toast. Is this available anywhere? I haven't seen it is any Stude vendors catalogs. Even dims on a pristine one would help.

    Jon:
Any half decent machine shop should be able to find or fab a correct fit by measuring the ID of the bore and OD of the shaft. Most often you even need to resize (ream) the new bushings after install as pressing them in slightly distorts them, making them out of round.
Hope that is at least of a little help...
