  • Cast iron studebaker header

Does anyone have a picture of a 289 studebaker header? Someone has a pair however I don't know what it would look like, don't want to get stuck.[8D]

Visually...they sorta look like Chevy Rams horn manifold.
The two end ports come out and bend toward the center...then roll down.
The center port goes out and over the end ports and down...making the "down" leg kinda square or rectangular in shape. If you look inside from the exit up, the end ports come together, then the center and end ports come together about 2-1/2"/3" from the exit.

Hope that helps some. If no one else posts any pictures...I'll tey to take some later.

I was looking at one that Lionel Stone had (at the time he didnt have
a set in stock) and they are pretty neat. I would like a set for my
Avanti eventually. Of course .. just back on the road would be nice.

These are not just a bolt on. they will need a little massaging to remove casting flash.

              Karl -

              A LITTLE massaging........?
I spent well over an hour on each manifold. To clean up the interior divider...to make the actual outlet a nice clean "round" outlet and of course to match them to my heads.

Only an hour Mike? Either you got a nice set or you are getting lazy in your old age.
