My 2R15 has had a suspension(?) anomaly since I've owned it. The front drivers side sits 2" lower than the passenger side. I had it parked on level concrete and measured from the bottom of the bumper to the concrete. Maybe not precise but it is a noticeable tilt. The truck seems to drive and steer OK. It goes straight down the road without wandering or pulling. I don't see anything bent or broken in the springs or shackles. The drivers side springs appear nearly flat but the other side hardly has any arch either. It doesn't seem to be enough difference between the springs to warrant a 2" difference in height. What should I be looking for here?

IIRC, Stude used different front springs to compensate for the weight of the driver, instruments, battery and steering gear all being on the left side of the truck. It is possible at some point the front springs on your truck got switched. Seen it happen.
Also, the spring eye rubber budhings used in Stude truck springs wears rapidly, but not evenly. I've seen the rubber gone completely to where there was metal shackle bolt on metal spring eye on one side and the rubber still good on the other side.

Looks like your bumper is crooked.
No really, I wouldn't use the bumper for a reference point. Take a measurement from the frame.

OK, so the bumper is twisted a bit. I measured from the frame rail, next to the front shackle. Got a 3/4" difference there. The shackle bushings seem tight. Guess the bumper makes it look worse than it is.Rick
