Time to clean out the parts washer. It's been in a generic sits-on-a-drum model for about 10 years. The Beckett pump has held up fine so far, despite warnings to use a water soluble solvent.
Rather than refill with kerosene/diesel, I thought I'd try some thing water soluble. Planning to drain it for the winter, and maybe install a heater to boost the cleaning effect.
Google finds Purple Power comes only slightly recommended , except for etching aluminum if left on long at all, with no information about how much to dilute with water, or run full strength.
Does anyone have any suggestions?
thanks
