dual MC and 4w disc brakes

  • dual MC and 4w disc brakes

    I now have 4wheel disc brakes on the 63 cruiser. It has the
    factory booster. Anything special I should know for operation
    when converting to a dual master cylinder on the booster?
    64 Champ long bed V8
    55/53 Studebaker President S/R
    53 Hudson Super Wasp Coupe

    Got a proportioning valve on the rears? Residual check valves on both lines? I did tnis recently, and it was pretty straight forward, but I read a lot of the old posts for research.

      Not really .. use an Avanti II master from an early 70s Chrysler. Its
      about 70 bucks.

          4 wheel disk brakes will require a MC, with larger than a 1.0" bore. Use this as a reference to calculate how much fluid you need to push before buying a MC
