  • Brakes: E-Brake Tranny mounted lining replacement (M15A)

I need new brake lining for the transmission mounted emergency brake. I have conventional brake lining but the backing is on the inside of the curvature and it needs to be on the outside for the emergency brake because it is a band type brake.

SI and SP don't appear to have any lining, where do you get it?

    Thanks

When I worked at a truck fleet I used to get them relined at independent truck brake shops, the kind that also reline brake shoes. Usually these can be found in larger cities. The stuff comes in rolls of varies sizes and they just whack off what they need I believe.

Thanks 41 Frank. I'm trying to bend the material I have so that it curves the other way. Also, McMaster Carr has material that would do if the material that I have does not work out. I think I will go the epoxy route...
