    Matt,

When you move to production mode, I think the script would look better if it were centered.

Now if you could just photoshop that Packard V-8 with 2 4 barrels under the hood of that truck now that would really scare the daylights out of the rest of us

    Matthew,

White would complement the truck's color better than a stained wood (too close to orange), and set off nicely against the white rims. Plus painted wood will last longer. And, you can experiment with some orange scrollwork pinstripes on the white if you want to (such as spelling out Studebaker in the old script logo). Give it a try in Photoshop and let us see what "could be".

Will do! Me and him are driving it to a big car rally tomorrow. The first show I've been to with the truck.
Oh, and I'm thinking of staining the boards or painting them white to match the rest of the 'trim' on the truck. Opinions?

    Funny Paul!

    I should've checked Chuck's site, it's even on my favorites list. [:I]

Mr. Ash did a great job on how to install the vent windows on the M trucks, but the window frame fits into another piece that bolts to the door. On the C-cabs, the window frame is attached to the door itself. I see that I need to drill out the rivet at the top, (that rivet acts as a hinge to allow the window to flip out) but what holds it in the bottom? Does it just sit into place whilst the top rivet holds it in the door?

Hopefully I'm not too confusing about this. [)]

Matthew! I can't believe you didn't look at Chuck Collins'(StudebakerParts.com) Tech Help page.

Look about halfway down, and there's a link to a How-To by Gary Ash, entitled, "M5 and C CAB TRUCK VENT WINDOW SEAL INSTALLATION HELP":
    https://www.studebakerparts.com/stud...page=tech.html

Be sure to check out some of the other How-Tos whilst you are there!

    C-cab vent window

How do I get that thing out? And then put another one in its place? The one on my truck has a broken off handle, but I think there's a decent window assembly in a parts truck around here. Thought I'd ask here before I ruined it by trying it myself.
