    will a53/54 hood fit on a 62 hawk if I use right width grilles and core support? does the curve of the hood match the curve of the fenders and same with the trunk lid?

    The inner fenders on a GT are different from a 1953.

    Radiator, shroud will be too high.

      It'll take a lot of parts to make it work, but it could be done. You might need a 53-53 parts car to do it, lots of parts involved.

          Yes and no. The trunk lid will fit just fine. To get the hood and grilles to fit, you have to cut down the inner fender core support towers, trim a bit around the grille openings, and fill the side grille mount holes in the fenders. From there it's mostly minor massaging etc. Here is a pick of my old '62 with a '53/'54 hood and grille setup:
