  • Clutch / Torque Converter: I'm so frustrated with this throw-out bearing...

I'm so frustrated with this throw-out bearing I'm ready to start taking a sledge to the car! ...Starting with the transmission I just spent over a thousand dollars to have fixed!

After spending over an hour trying to get thosespring clips in, my hands started cramping up. Having dropped the bloody damned thing on my face several times, getting grease all over my hands (and everything else in sight), frustration welled up and I decided it was time to quit for the day. The alternative would have been likely taking a sledge to the bearing. Possibly a really bad idea as I don't have the money to replace it.

does anyone know how to get those bleeding little wire-clips into the bleeding little holes without spending an hour cussing at the thing? I really need some help here.

The application is a '56 Parkview.
