Do you want just the block, with heads, intake on, full of oil, etc?

An old book I have lists it at 625 pounds. The only engine they show as being heavier is the Chrysler 392.

The engine weighs 685 complete with stick flywheel. I have paired them down to less than 600 lbs. but it takes quite a bit of work and money. The early Olds weighed more at 700 lbs. and the Chrysler 331-392 were 735 lbs.

A Studebaker V8, dry, but ready to run, with fan, carb, air cleaner, starter, generator, clutch, flywheel, bellhousing, weighs 695# on a certified scale.

          The Packard V8 weighs 715#.
