  • Autolite OD relay interchange?

I recently bought a NOS Autolite overdrive relay. I'm pretty sure (not positive) that its 6 volt. Does anyone have an old parts catalog or interchange book (or personal experience) to let me know whether this relay (Autolite # HR 4201S) is a replacement for Studebaker part # 523297? Any relevant advice is appreciated.

Autolite # HR 4201S was actually used on Studebakers . They later replaced it with the style that is now being reproduced . I have one of these on my 47 Champion and it works just fine. It is 6v and is a replacement for 523297. I prefer this style as all terminals are marked and the fuse is easier to remove.

Thanks, Milt. Thats exactly what I needed to know! The vast reservoir of Stude knowledge on this forum never ceases to amaze me!
