  • Cleaning my clock

I've gotten the clock for an Avanti running nicely but would like to clean the face and inside of the glass while its apart.
To do that I think I need to remove the knob that sets the time. Anybody know how or if that can be done? It hasn't responded to any moderate force I've applied to it.

The knob screws off, you'll need a good small pair of needle nose pliers to grasp the shaft with, then spinn off the knob.

      Thanks Jim,

I suspected it was threaded but when it didn't move I didn't want to apply brute force inappropriately.
