  • Need a photo of '60 Lark/Champ truck speedo face

Does anyone have a decent speedometer on a '60 Lark or '60-'64 Champ truck that still has all of its markings? Can I get a picture?

Here's one with the markings falling off and some pieces stuck in places where they don't belong. Were there little white marks for each 10 mph division? [where red arrows point]

The photo of the speedometer on E-bay shows a gold face. Unless thats a result of the flash, it is not correct on a Champ. My 60 Lark & 61 Champ both have a silver face. The one in the Champ I got around 1990 from Newman & Altman & its suffering from the same illness as yours-numerals flaking off. I just figured it was due to some rejection in quality & thats why it was surplus stock. I still have the original speedo & its now in better shape than the one I replaced it with!

If you come up with a good way to restore the numerals and markings, let us know. There is a lot of that flaking going around.
