  • '50 Champion dash switches (heater fan, headlight, etc)

    I need to remove the switches from a '50 Champion dash. I can see the nut that secures the switches, but it is obvious that the knobs will not fit thru the hole in the dash. How does the knob (or knob and shaft) come out of the switch? A picture or sketch would be really helpful;

    Thanks

    Your book tells you how, but here it goes. If you get a small thin point or pick, you put the point in hole of the main body of switch and push. You pull out the knob while you push into the hole. Then you can get the switch assembly off. The small hole is located in front bottom of main body. It has been awhile, but i think it is small hole or square.
