It's a pin that you should be able to drive out with a small punch. A little penetrating oil might help. It's the same design as 60s Studebakers.

Avanti Vent Handle
Can somebody tell me how to remove the driver's side window vent handle on a 1974 Avanti ? I see a small hole with a rusty appearance inside, but cannot determine what it is. it is in the closed position and the button is depressed. Pin ? Set screw ? Thank You.Tags: None
