Trans question?

I just bought a 289 and automatic.The number on the side of the trans is 34368. It is air cooled with a fill tube. Can some one tell me what year and trans this is. I have a 62 lark wagon 259 and flightomatic,hope this is the same trans. Thanks Tom

A list of Borg-Warner transmission serial numbers has eluded us so far. But we can identify it by model number (AS - - - - -) and color of the ID tag.
