Stude rear fender trim

Hi

Does any one know if 53 top of rear fender trim/spears are the same a 55?
Are they interchangable from side to side also?

Yes and yes! And I think also for '56 non-finned hawks.

Although I think the '55 speedster ones have a notch cut out for a chrome moulding on the front end. Seems to me I've seen a speedster where you could tell the restorer modified the trim from a different car and didn't get that cut quite perfect....
