It's not ignorance, just lack of knowledge about what you need. You can't get the right part unless we know what it's for.

I initially asked because all three body series for those years used different vent window assemblies. People can't help you until you better define what you need.

So your car is a '55 President "C" Coupe, not a sedan then.
You need the Glass and chrome frame? There are no "kits" and no NOS Vent Window parts left, a few used can be found at times. It is common to '53 to '61 Coupes & Hawks.

So is it a sedan or a C-body? (what's it say on the body tag?)

            Tinted or clear glass?

I think there's a clear glass, chrome frame, C-body one in JDP's basement that's actually mine, but I don't care about it... don't think the chrome was particularly nice though.

With all due respect, you have now posted three times asking for the same parts, but have not yet provided the critical piece of info, viz; is it a 2-door sedan, a C coupe, or a K hardtop? There is no such thing as 2-door sedan c/k. The body plate on the passenger side of the firewall will have a letter indicating the body type. If it's a C coupe, then see Rich's answer above. The vent window assemblies from 53 to 61 coupes and Hawks will all fit, but are not available as kits. You will have to find used assemblies or individual parts. Many vendors sell used Stude parts:

                Josue,
All we need is the information from the body tag on the firewall. A 2 door sedan is not a "C" nor a "K". A "K" is a hardtop. A "C" is a coupe, not a sedan. Body tag information goes straight to the answer you seek.

                  Josue,
We really want to help you here. All we need is the body tag information.

From this, I can now tell what you need. There is no 1955 Presdient two door sedan. There is a C body State coupe. I assume that this is what you have.

I am sorry, but I do not have the parts that you need. There is someone on the Forum that removed these parts from his C body. Hopefully, he will contact you.

Before we assume anything, go to the members picture section and pick out the body style you need the vent assembly for. Just post the members name and car listed.

The reason I bring this up is I have a few sets of 54 hardtop vent assemblies if that is what you need. I know they don't fit the coupe but I'm so confused by all the posts and comments, that I'd hate to see you not get what you need because of the confusion.

I agree with you, but in a private mail to me he specifically stated that it was a 1955 President two door and not a hardtop. It would help the most if he posted the body plate information.

My last K body vent window assembly went into the restoration of Bob Bourke's 1954 Starliner.

Glad you have him covered. I just didn't want him to miss if the K series was what he needed.
