What pressure should the radiator cap be for a 1947 Commander Starlight coupe?

If I recall correctly, your system is a non pressurized one. Just make sure the seal is about one inch below the top of the cap. I have a 4 lb cap on my '50 for what's it worth. I've run 12 and 16 pound caps and found no differences also. Paul
