I've replaced the brakes in my '51 Commander and '53 Commander with later V-8 brakes.
A member of our Chapter asked me tonight about his '51 Champion. Will later V-8 backing plates bolt up to the Champion or would he need later six backing plates? I had no clue and my parts catalogs are out on loan. I told him I could find out quick. Then I suspect he will be looking for someone with parts, or a donor car.
