Still having problem with oil rings breaking (part 1541237) when trying to reassemble transmission. original issue posted june 1, repeated herewith: The person rebuilding my 63 gt automatic has broken several planetarey shaft front clutch oil rings (part 1541237) trying to get them reinstalled. He is an experienced Ford transmission person and has rebuilt 6 transmisisons for me over the past several years but he is having problems with the oil rings. He said it appeared that the original rings were chamfered but the replaements were not, although they are most likely NOS. any help would be appreciated.
