I have to problems in my 64 daytona

    1. When I turn on the right turn signal the the indicator light doesn't flash, but the blinker works, the left side signal and indicator work fine.

    2. I have a new wiring harness and the headlights cut out. I think there is a thermal overload somewhere because they come back on in a few minutes.

Anybody have any suggestion as to what could be the problems

your headlights are halogen and too juicy for the circuit breaker..and you have a problem in your turn signal switch

Or your dimmer switch is shorting to ground and you simply have a burned out bulb.

I had the same issue with the headlights. When we replaced the headlight dimmer foot peddle, that fixed the issue with the head lights. Have you check both the front and rear turn signal bulbs?

          1. You either have a blown front or rear directional signal bulb, or a bad connection to one of them
          2. Your headlight circuit breaker is tripping because of a short circuit somewhere. Could be the dimmer switch, a real short, high-amp halogen bulbs exceeding the breaker limit, or a weak breaker. If you have installed halogen headlights, you need to wire them through a separate circuit and relay. You can still activate the relay from the original wiring.

Its just the indicator on the dash that doesn't blink, and there's only one, not a left and right like an avanti. All the external lights work the way the should, just not the dash indicator on right turns.

It has the same headlights that have been in it for years? I never replaced them, I figured it was either a short or bad breaker. I'll get a new dimmer switch as I've heard they go bad a lot.
