    They are shields that were used on the Warner Gear automatics, primarily to direct the air for cooling on air cooled transmissions and since the Power Shift trans is a variation of them, I would still use them. Automatics can never be too cool. The Avanti crate engine has them installed.

    Bellhousing brackets on Avanti auto.

    Hello everyone,
    I was attaching the bellhousing and auto box to my engine the other day and I noticed in the parts manual that there were some parts missing. They are prt no's. 1549244/3, two brackets that bolt to the bottom and side of the bellhousing. Does anyone have a photo of them or know why they are there and if they can be left off?
