  • 48 Champ wheels and tire interchange

Anyone know if the wheels from an early Chrysler mini-van will fit the 47-50 Champ bolt pattern? Looked awfully close in the junk yard, but didn't have a way to measure it. I know the MoPar is 14" wheel, but just need to make my '48 a roller as cheaply as possible to get it home.

    Thanks

Is the mini van four lug? If so measure the bolt pattern.

Isn't there a Fo*d wheel that fits? Maybe from the Fairmont or such? Can't recall for sure.[V]

I think you're right Mr. Biggs I had a 79 Fairmont and it had four lug 14 inch wheels on it. [8D]

I seem to recall that the Pinto/Mustang II wheels are 4 on 4". Had a couple of those on my '40 Champion parts car to get it up on the trailer. They were only 13-inchers but they rolled.

Early 4-lug Vega wheels will work also.

I think that the early Fox-body Mustang used the same bolt pattern wheels as the Fairmont, so that may be an option.
