You must have clicked on 'Subscribe to this Forum'. I don't know how to stop it. Maybe B. Shaw can help.

      Mike,

When you log in you will see a tool bar at the top of the page that says "Subscribe to this forum". You must have clicked on it at some point. I suspect you can click it again to undo the damage.

If not, toggle over to the General Discussion side and Bob Shaw has a "Sticky" on this feature you can read (sorry for not doing it myself, but dinner is ready![]).

Where it says "Subscribe to this Forum", it should now say "Unsubscribe to this Forum". I read B.Shaw's sticky, and it says that once you subscribe, the link changes to unsubscribe. Try it and see!

Also, in the top right it says "My Subscriptions". You can click on that, to see what you have subscribed to and selectively unsubscribe to threads for which you no longer want to receive email notices.

All credit goes to B. Shaw, who probably gets tired of people thanking him but we're going to do it anyway.
