Is the torque converter out of a 59 Lark 259ci auto column shift the same as a 63 column shift 289ci automatic ? My 63 unit has a couple of teeth missing on the ring gear & I want to buy the 59 unit if OK
    Thanks Kevin

It would probably work, but do you know the condition of the 59' convertor as compared to yours?? You might be better off replacing the ring gear on yours...might even be cheaper. Those are available from some of the SDC parts vendors. Hope this helps.
