  • 55 k body

Ok guys.I located a 55 k body no frame etc..,Would this body fit on a s-10 frame reasonably easy .Or would it take a lot of cutting and refitting?

Why not drop it on a GT Hawk frame? That would make for a nice driver IMHO.

I've heard of S-10s going under the 47 thru 52 cars with some work to the trunk floor, but not under a C or K car. Not to say it can't be done - just that I've never heard of it.

Are the track and wheel base compatable ? Also the sheet metal under the car, body mounts and hog troughs, are totaly different then the bottom of the S10. The hog troughs have to be in place to support the hard top body. I used a GT hawk frame under my Speedster and it's a bolt on.

Yes, it would take a lot of cutting and fitting.
