    OK, probably a silly question, but an important one: Do the door seals go on the door or on the body frame around the door?

      Not a silly question.
      Chuck Collins' Studebaker pages (studebakerparts.com) had some nice pictures of where the door seal rubber attaches to the car for different models and years. ("Glue goes here, stick it to body channel...") That was good info for me.
