    Hello all, I have a tank assm, with bracket that is supposed to be a Stude part..number 1552818..what in the heck does this thing go on??? Also if there is one of our members that needs it please let me know..Thanks!!!

    Yeah, that's the windshield washer resevoir for 61 thru64 (maybe 65& 66 too) windshield washer systems. Part of AC-49 Accessory system.

        Not THAT well.[}]But I do know how to look up a part number in the index of a parts book and then leaf thru to the section it says that part number resides in

        I will say that this forum (and the practice I get looking up part applications) HAS made it easier to memorize what section covers what in the parts books. After a while you start to realize Studebakers way of organizing it's parts books. That makes things alot easier to track down.
        I've had access to AMC parts books in the past and I never DID figure out how to look anything up in those volumes!!![xx(]
