  • Wheels on ton 49 Studebaker

I have an one ton 49 Studebaker with 5 lug lock ring split rims. It is getting harder to get these these wheels serviced due to the danger.

Does any know of standard rims instead of the lock ring that will replace the 7.5" lug spread 17" wheel that are stock.

    Fred,

I own a bunch of trucks, but only my 4x4 has 17" wheels and they are not split rims. This topic comes up from time to time on the Studebaker Truck Talk site and you may want to check there. Tony O. has now added a search feature that will let you look for past posts by subject. If you don't find an answer, just post a message.

Fred the only alternative wheels I have found are those from Stockton Wheel Service
